Conveyancing Secretary
DUTIES
Attend to transfers, Estate late transfers, registration of municipality properties, receiving instructions from clients and preparing documents independently, drafting preliminary document, deeds of transfer and other related documents.
Attending to filing, faxing, photocopying, taking messages and general office duties.
Arranging for transfer duty and exemption certificates
Applying for rates clearance figures from various city councils and follow up telephonically
Typing letters and faxes
Wording own letters, receive and send e-mails
Preparing final statements of account
Drawing business and trust cheques
Preparing debit notes
Liaising with attorney to arrange lodgement
Attending to queries from clients and other attorneys
Attending meetings with the Master of the High Court
